visit websiteWith more than 10,000 products on sale, this client already had a custom ecommerce site. Our role was to be responsible for the client’s brand creation and then translate this into a design for a new ecommerce site. Thanks to our previous experience with bulk product importing, we were able to move all of the products across to the new Magento design site. We also translated all of the SEO content, images and PDF downloads.
The client enjoyed high SEO rankings for their chosen search terms and another part of our role was to maintain that position. As well as further optimising the site, we made sure the old URLs were set up with thousands of 301 redirects to the new product pages. This allowed us to create a new site that outperformed the old one in terms of optimising conversions and search rankings. We also achieved improvements in administrative efficiency thanks to the implementation of a comprehensive Magento development backend.
