Commercial Washrooms is an established subsidiary of Lan Services Ltd which was previously known as Eco Washrooms. With the success of Eco Washrooms, they, therefore, created the need to develop a more sophisticated and more professional website, thus www.commercialwashroomsltd.co.uk was born.
Lan Services Ltd is a family run business, established in 1998 as a specialist contractor with a direct focus on full refurbishment of commercial washrooms which were primarily toilet facilities and changing rooms. These projects are carried out in multiple different sectors of business such as education, offices, healthcare, entertainment and also leisure too.
Commercial Washrooms came to us with their existing site which was our starting point, we gave it a modern new design and a fresh new look but still keeping a focus on user experience too. The new store was built on Magento 2, a future-proof platform where it allowed us to develop both a stylish and updated interface that facilitated both trade and retail orders.
A bespoke quoting tool was built into the site which now allows customers to request a quote from the front end of the website, by adding products to their quote in the same way that you’d add products to your basket. Orders placed feed through directly to businesses accounting systems for a succinct business process.
Another great feature that was included was an embedded ERP which performs a variety of functions such as:
Stock Management, which helps with tracking and transferring stock, inventory and low stock alerts. Purchases, which includes supplier management, purchase price, stock needs, purchase order forms, merchandise reception, and any outstanding orders. Order Preparation for order distribution in function with stock levels, mass order preparation, picking lists, mass printing, packing by barcode and transport labels.
A custom gallery was also added which includes a hotspot for product links. The gallery showcases a wide range of example washroom designs created by their in-house design team. Including this feature allows their customers to visualize how using their products can be combined to create their own unique commercial washroom space.
Throughout the website, there is always a strong focus on user experience including a smart search bar for customers to find what they’re looking for efficiently without having to navigate through the category pages manually.
Overall, the Commercial Washrooms site is both aesthetically and technically pleasing to see and use, providing not only a modern and fresh design but also making customer journeys through the store clear and straightforward from the get-go.
