It’s that time again folks… the ‘You are The Media’ Lunch Club is back! Woo-hoo!
Come on down and join us at Media Lounge HQ in Bournemouth on June 29th for another dose of the latest industry chat, more great food and simple, relaxed networking – you can probably tell we’re already very excited for this one!
For those of you that haven’t heard of this fantastic event (where have you been?), here’s a little taster of what the Lunch Club is and what it hopes to achieve.
First up, we have the irrepressible and charismatic Mark Masters from the ID Group who leads the ‘You Are The Media’ community and hosts the event at a variety of locations across Bournemouth and Poole. Simply labelled as a gathering of like-minded individuals from local businesses that come together on the last Thursday of every month, you’ll be treated to the latest content marketing insights from an industry-respected guest speaker. Not only that, we’ll chuck in some delicious food and refreshments as part of your invite!
The focus of this community is to demonstrate the validity of an ‘owned media’ approach to content marketing – so rather than throwing your money the way of Google and Facebook or buying lists of strangers to bombard with emails, you can start building an engaged audience with the advice and guidance of local businesses that are already doing a great job!
But wait, there’s more! As well as an insightful talk from one of Mark’s special guests, the Lunch Clubs also represent a fantastic opportunity for you to meet new faces and network alongside the local business community in an informal and relaxed environment – all the while, you’ll be enjoying delicious food and drink courtesy of the brilliant Lunch’d, Naked Coffee and Patas Arriba!
We are hugely excited for June’s Lunch Club – Mark will be looking to tackle the challenge of becoming a trusted industry resource with the help of special guest speaker Michael Grubb of Michael Grubb Studio. Michael and his lighting design company have taken a unique approach to their marketplace and are a great example of how to successfully build a targeted audience based on beliefs and education of a given subject.
Michael will be giving us the inside scoop on how talking to their audience about light and interpreting the role it plays in our lives has allowed Michael Grubb Studio to position themselves as market leaders and a trusted voice in their industry. Their success has seen them work with huge global brands including Guinness, Lush and the Science Museum – what more motivation do you need to get involved?!
We can’t wait to hear from Michael and let Mark shine a light (pun intended) on yet another business that is successfully growing their audience with a consistent, substantiated message.
